Karma
You give it, you get it
The more you give, the more you get
Not all is good, not all is bad
We all get good and bad.
How you respond is the best measure of...
well...
Things always get better with a smile and a laugh

I'm sorry to say this and I'm sorry if it offends somebodies beliefs, but karma is made up. It's an explanation for why things go right or wrong.
The truth is to get rid of all these negative things from happening to you all you need to do is think positive. If you think negative, negative will happen.
Yes, I do believe in the rule of 3; but I also believe in what I just told you.
See it works like this. If you do bad then you will recieve it back threefold. This doesn't mean to focus on it. If you focus on it it will come, thus causing you to do something bad (example things you do when the cards get down or when you get really upset). In other words you will get into a endless cycle. However if you think positive those things will still happen until you have became even.
Remember the rule of three also works for good. If you do something good it will come back to you threefold also.
bad = -3
good = 3
total = 0
So don't worry if you think positive and do good things these bad times will end.

karma is not the only thing that determine the reason for something happens.There are 4 other reasons called niyama dhamma in pali that account for the results.those are
uthu niyama(physical inorganic order;e.g.seasons,seasonal phemomena of winds and rains,etc.),
beeja niyama(seeds,eggs and sperm; mango tress grow from mango seeds,etc.),
dhamma niyama(order of the norm or nature of the world;e.g. gravitation and other similar laws of nature),
chiththa niyama(order of mind and psychic law; e.g.power of mind,including telepathy,processes of consciousness,etc.)
every mental or physical phenomenon could be explained by these all-embracing five orders or processes which are laws in themselves.kamma as such is only one of these five.like all other natural laws,they demand no lawgiver.
so now you may be able to determine the reason of things happend to you.And most importantly it doesn't mean that your future will be worse or better.future can be changed for some extent if you have the determintion to change it for well being of you and the world.
good luck.

karma is a serious thing... what goes around comes around ... however, you can counter act it.... fix your mistakes or atleast acknowledge them... perhaps apologising.... even somthing little no matter if it happened 10 sec ago or 10 years ago... showing the elements that you realize what has been done they will show forgiveness and maybe even a litle extra good karma
