i am working with windows XP home edition. my taskbar and start menu is missing with my particular user id. i tried to restore it with different user id. it is working fine but with my personal id it is missing. kindly suggest me how can i get it back. it is also happening that nothing is being showed when i use the right click button of my mouse. kindly give me some answer as i have a lot of documents with my id.

You have dragged the bar too far to the bottom.
Move your mouse to the bottom of the screen.
When you see it change to an up & down arrow pointer, left-click and hold the mouse. The move the mouse straight up. This should drag the Task Bar back in to view.

I agree with the last. If those don't work you can copy your document into the Shared folder and then you can access them from other users. Make a new user and move the files from the shared folder into the new users my documents. Then delete the old user.

If you have it set to auto-hide, you will not see it until you place the mouse to the bottom of your screen. If that doesn't bring it up, try to hit the windows key on your keyboard. Hope this helps.

1) hold down CTRL key

2) press ESC key while still holding CTRL

3) should be able to take mouse pointer over to taskbard and drag it back out

Can you press the Windows key and ahve it show? Or Ctrl+Esc?

Try those, otherwse have you tried restarting?

likely your account is corrupted. experiment your C pressure employing experiment disk device from different administrative account. If it do not paintings then do not attempt to recuperate it your self. it would want to lost all of your documents completely. contact for service or someone professional with pcs.
