I think that it's interesting to see what others believe and /or what religion they practice, if one at all. I am a christian and I just want to understand other views on this topic.

I believe in God. He's the creator of everything and everyone. That's just my opinion.

Hmmm my thoughts regarding God.....

Ok first of all i do beleive that there is something out there that is greater than ourselves, although im not entirely sure what, ive always been a person beleives in common sense and the common good, if you live your life to the best of your ability, do what you can to help others, and generally try to not hurt anyone in the process of trying to make yourself happy then i doubt that you are likely to have to many problems in life.

I also feel churches are not the way to worship, buildings are just that bricks, stone and mortar, how is it that anyone is able to feel God's wrath/love in a place like they have these days......churches were built for mans benifit not gods......i think that he had control of religion.....do you not think that he would have his people meeting at the top of the highest mountain or walking through th sea with them, to feel his glory rather than sitting on pews in a drabby and dreary place where you are continually paying money to line another mans pocket instead of truely helping those that need the help the most. Go and volunteer at a soup kitchen, give money to beggars (regardless of what you think they might spend it on, looks can be deceiving and they may truely just want a cup of coffee) or better yet, if you have the money in you pocket, take them into a store buy them an outfit and a meal, give them enough to start the day with a smile on their face and hope in there hearts, because usually that is all these people are truely lacking, or help at retirement villages, schools and nurserys, wildlife parks or just someone you see that is struggling with day to day life i gauruntee you, there is someone out there that you know that is hurting and you wouldnt see it, above all remember actions speak louder than words, but silence speaks a thousand more..... so do help someone everyday ......i do....And beleive it or not after every thing that i have written here i am not a religious person one iota.....I just beleive that underneath man is mostly good, and regardless of however many bad situations you go through in your life you still have that essential choice between good and bad.....i choose good and always will.

I am Agnostic... but raised Roman Catholic ... I believe that there is a God for the simple reason of the principle in physics ... that energy cannot be created ...nor destroyed ! Life begets life ... life sustains life ... one cannot live without thriving on another life ... but after you die ... you haven't any control over where you go .. and some say Heaven or Hell ... some say reincarnation ... but either way .. it ain't your call ... it is up to what I like to think of as The Great Equalizer ! Some religions call it Karma ... do good and good comes to you ... and do evil .. and bad things come to you ... and if that is how it works in the afterlife ... than you just don't really make that final choice ... nature ... or something does !

There is some unseen force up there keeping watch of sorts.

Live a good life and good things will happen to you.

The spiritual journey is like climbing a mountain. There are many different paths, some are easy and some are difficult. But, in the end they all lead to the same place.

thank you, this is my dealings with others who believe i will go to hell because im athiest. it is hard to be athiest in a place where everyone around you thinks that athieism is bad. its not its just that with your personal expieriences it is better not to believe. Your religion is yours and it is personal to you, however i dont believe in one and i would like to suggest that people will stop pushing their religion on athiests and agnotstics, and i am also tired of people calling me a demon or a demon worshiper, that is not atheism and i would like to tell all of you the truth of the meanings of atheism, agnosticism, satanism, and gothic religions... atheism: disbelief in the existance of God/Gods, agnosticism: The belief that there can be no proof either that God exists or that God does not exist, satanism: The worship of Satan characterized by a travesty of the Christian rites, and gothic: A style of rock music that often evokes bleak, lugubrious imagery. so in conclusion athiests and agnostics are not the same as satanism. you are very understanding and are like one of my best friends because he also understands every religion.

I believe in the Christian God.

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ.

For a draft-version of my journey from atheism to Christ, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html

Cordially,

I believe in God!!!!!!!!!!
He has been there for me! I've come close to death on 4 times.
Each time he pulled me through. At birth I was 2 1/2 premature.
odds on survival at that time was slim to none.
I almost drown twice and servived. A serious auto accident, and
I'm still here, in each case the odds were against me, But God
was with me.

Yes I believe in God. Because I go though things, and I think to myself its not my own strenght. There has to be something else that is helping me cope from day to day. I see how God works in other people's lives and I know that God is real.

I used to be a christian, for a while. I believe in God, I believe he exists wherever love is found, and proves his existence every day in many ways. faith is lost for me because I see proof.

I believe in God and that he created the heavens and the Earth. I believe for many reasons, but it comes down to faith.
