Whisky all the way, baby!! I love single malt Scottish Whisky. I have three bottles of 140 proof single malt in my room!

Depends on what the occasion is and how drunk you wanna get.... partying with friends calls for vodka coz its the "in" booze, great with shots and does not leave you with a hangover like whisky would if you ended up drinking up too much of it....
Go for a good scotch or irish or american whiskey if you are in a more formal ambiance and will be restricting your self to a couple of drinks....over do it and whisky will have you by your.....!!!! your head will weigh a ton the next morning.
Which ever you settle for, remember to drink responsibly!!!

Vodka is made from potatoes. It has a terrific bite out of the bottle, but you can drink it in dabs like swigs of water and not get really drunk. It was my choice for serious drinking when I drank--which I don't anymore.
Whiskey is a more refined spirit, made largely from wheat. Drinking straight from the bottle takes good breath control. But mixed, it is far superior to Vodka, in my estimation.
Both have their uses and their place in habits of drinkers. To chose one over the other makes little difference, although if you must have a preference, it is vodka.

Whiskey of course but vodka can sure be mixed with alot of different things to make a wonderful drink but I am basic jack on the rocks, Jim Beam when I want a switch

Well, since I overdosed (just drank to much of it) on Whiskey (Jack Daniels) and therefore, cannot drink it anymore, much less smell it, I'd have to go with Vodka, but not a lot of it as it gives me headaches.

I would have to say both. Whatever my mood is that is what i drink. I do perfer vodka.
