The body of Christ is the Church. Ephesians 1: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Ephesians 1: 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. His body is only made up of saints that have trusted in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for our sins. He was buried and took our sins away and He rose again on the third day for our justification. When a person believes this they are baptized by the Spirit in His body. 1 Corinthians 12: 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Then they become members of His body in particular. 1 Corinthians 12: 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

The Body of Christ is made up of all those who believe that Jesus is the only way and truth and Light and that no one comes to the Father (God) except through Him. We, the church, (meaning those who are believers in Christ) are the body of Christ.

The body of Christ is made up of all of the people who have been born again by the Holy Spirit of God.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--Jews or Greeks, slaves or free--and all were made to drink of one Spirit.

That is the "true" church and not a group of people who gather in a building under some denominational sign.

Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

The Body of Christ is a Biblical term used to refer to all Christians in the world. People who do not identify as Christians are not included.

The body of Christ consist of all of his followers/believers.
It's the believers that make up the church (and I'm not referring to one particular denomination here - but the church in 'whole')

--- and the 'church' is the body of Christ...with Christ as the 'head'.

God Bless.

Dear Spindle123,

The "body of Christ" is made up of all individuals who have sincerely committed their lives to Christ (as evidenced by their living in daily relationship with the Christian God, and doing their best to live in obedience to his teachings).

Cordially,
John

Your god is yours, however i dont believe in one and i would like to suggest that people will stop pushing their religion on athiests and agnotstics, and i am also tired of people calling me a demon or a demon worshiper, that is not atheism and i would like to tell all of you the truth of the meanings of atheism, agnosticism, satanism, and gothic religions... atheism: disbelief in the existance of God/Gods, agnosticism: The belief that there can be no proof either that God exists or that God does not exist, satanism: The worship of Satan characterized by a travesty of the Christian rites, and gothic: A style of rock music that often evokes bleak, lugubrious imagery. so in conclusion athiests and agnostics are not the same as satanism.
