Beverly Hills if you can afford. Dallas is really nice too though - they are just 2 different atmospheres. Bev Hills is very poshy and stuck up - when I was in Dallas people there had money/huge homes but they seemed way more down to earth and not so phony.

Well... I was born in Texas, but have lived the majority of my life in California. Through my travel for work I spent many weeks in Dallas, Plano, Fort Worth. I think in all honesty I'd have to go with Dallas on this one.

beverly hills is perfection.
it's nice in the beginning. and then it gets hard to keep up with all the **** that happens.
dallas is low key.
bh is scandalous.
depends on what you like.

I've lived in both. Depends on what's most important to you..
Cali- great weather, lots of culture and nightlife, beaches, multitude of restaurants, more liberal
Texas- friendlier people, cheaper!, less traffic, more space, more conservative
