In the bible it says God will rid the earth of wicked, but what about the rest of the universe?

lol, i know i am a wise asss, but i'm serious. let's say NASA happens to send out a shuttle the day life as we know it goes down the drain, so we end up with 7 little humans out orbiting the earth or some other piece of rock. and let's just say(i'm strecthing a bit so bear with me for the questions sake) it only takes the big guy and the evil snake about an hour to fight their last fight of good and evil. will the folks in the shuttle not be affected by God's will? it clearly say ALL throughout the bible that he will remove all the bad stuff from the EARTH/WORLD, not the sun, venus, jupiter,etc........................................... feel free to add you own insight or humor to the situation,lol

awl, i think i'm going to rewrite the question, you guys are completly missing the point of my question. i know he says he will destroy the earth as we know it, but the last time i checked , the earth is not the only thing floating around in space......do you get what i am trying to say? if we somehow figure out a way to put people on like jupiter, will the be destoryed too? it simply says the earth, nothing else

I suppose you're not looking for a serious answer.. but here's a serious answer. The Bible describes what will happen at the end of the world. The entire universe will be destroyed. The Bible doesn't just talk about a new earth, but a new HEAVEN and a new Earth. So it's all burned up -- the works -- and a completely new universe will be created. Those guys in the shuttle? They're toast.

Yes this is true, God will soon rid the earth of all wickedness, this includes wicked people, governments and false religions. What will be left are the righteous ones among the earth that will be saved. Did you read about the flood of Noah's day? Jehovah God saved the few righteous on the earth at that time Noah and his family. Today too after the wicked are destroyed from the earth, the righteous one's will have the work of making this earth a paradise again. Won't this be wonderful. no more wickedness.

Just because they are in space doesn't matter. God can see them anyway. They will either dissapear right where they are-or if they are not God-lovers, then they won't dissapear. Either way, they are not not-included just because they are in space. And when God and Satan battle in the end, it wont be an hour. The Bible says that one day will be like a thousand years, and a thousand years will be one day. And when the true Christians are in Paradise-who cares about the rest of the universe?

I assume that the term "Earth" is a figure of speach that refers to the materal, or natural. realm (as opposed to the spiritual). So this would include the Moon, Mars, and the Space Shuttle as well.
