So you can fall on your head, get up and do it over again! it hurts trust me.. I know. I am the king of falling on my head. Take a trip, it's cheeper in the long run, and relaxing. Not expensive and stressfull.

some would say the only reason to fall in love is to get our harts broken. but i hope that was just a bitter person and not true.
but to answer your question. whats the use? well love is to have someone who completes you. i believe we can never be perfect. we can be close but never perfect. not alone at least we always have short comings. and this is where the other person comes in to place. when two people are in love they complete each other so what ever you don't have or are not good at the other person will fill.
and for those say what i you both suck at etc.. at least you can keep each other company? ;)
if that did sound right here it is better put.

Well this question seems like it is coming from someone who has either just gotten hurt or who has been hurt alot. There is no use in falling in love with jerks. But if you find the right one then it is the best thing in the world to be in (love). And unfortunately you will probably run across alot of jerks before you get to "Mr. Right";but when you find him then you will be glad that you didn't give up looking.

Well, it helps you decide who to spend your life with, and raise your children with. How lonely would we be without people falling in love? No one's parents would stay together, and in fact, most people would probably refrain from even having children.
Personally, I can't imagine what my life would be like if I had never fallen in love, and had no prospects of ever falling in love. What is the point, if not to enjoy your family?

There is nothing more satisfying in life then when you find that one person you can love, trust and spend the rest of your life with. I have been with my husband for 15years, I fell in love with him and first time I saw him and everyday I love him more and more, he is a great husband, a great lover, a great father and my best friend, it's just something you have to experience for your self to know what I'm talking about, when you truly love someone and they love you just as much and you build a life on that it's a wonderful feeling.

Besides procreation? :-) Experiencing intimacy, learning to be vulnerable and open with another, exploring emotional nakedness and learning new things about yourself that can't be learned any other way. It's unfortunate when love turns sour....but if you fall for someone who is emotionally aware and mature that isn't nearly as likely to happen. Don't date jerks or 'macho' babymen looking for a mama-- look for a guy with a sweet and loving heart...but with a strong sense of his true self... a good guy who will adore you exactly as you are.

When you met the right person you can't stop from falling in love and when it's the right person it's wonderful. So it must be that you haven't found the "really" right person for you yet. Be patient they're out there.

I ask the same question myself sometimes, usually when you do you get hurt, love is a easy word for some to use but they dont really understand what it means and realize how bad it can hurt someone or they dont care. love is a bond not a joke...
