I have heard that light red blood isn't so bad, but that dark red could be a problem. Either way I would talk to your doctor for sure, to be on the safe side.

This happens to me and I went to the doctor about it a little over 1 year ago when I, too, was 30 years old. I went to him because I had a huge hemorrhoid and I was in so much pain it was insane. He removed what he told me was a thrombosed hemorrhoid and also told me that I had fischers*. I asked him about the blood in my stool and he said it was due to internal hemorrhoids. I told him that I experienced no pain and he told me that most people with internal ones didn't feel any pain, but that they were indeed there. Go to the doctor and have it seen about, though. I am certainly not saying that is what you have, but it is a chance and it is always better to be safe than sorry. Go have it seen about.

Yes it something that you should be concerned with and be given immediate attention. You should go to a doctor now, or the ER.
Blood in the stool can be several things including ulcer, growths in your colon, etc.
Do not delay in getting to a doctor. The longer you wait, the worse it will get and become untreatable.

Dont rush to the doctor that fast. But only if it continues. Else, it might be some sign of digestion disorder. If it is not painful while having bowel movement, its okay. You should watch your diet and if it continues, then rush to the doctor.

You definitely need to see a doctor. it is possible for a 30 year old to have bowel cancer or it could be something benign like hemorrhoids. Regardless only an M.D. can diagnose your problem. Call him or her now.

Apparently it was blood, genius.
Yeah, I'd be worried. A little blood is usually caused by constipation (Your bowels get irritated by the pushing), but if it was a lot of blood, I'd be worried.

could be a haemorrhoid or could be a fissure. did you feel any pain during the bowel movement? this could actually be one of several different conditions non-threatening as well as otherwise. so asking for a diagnosis here is not wise. you should visit your doctor who will examine you to determine the reason. please remember that unexplained passing of blood from any bodily orifice is cause for a visit to your physician and you should not indulge in self-diagnosis.

You should go to the doctor as soon as you can. You should not have blood in your stool. You may have hemorrhoids or a fissure or a tear in your rectum.
