I think its because its cheap and makes alot of noise, which is very annoying...

Well, common Christian instruments (besides the organ) like the tambourine and the guitar have Middle Eastern origins where the religion began. So folk Christian music (bleh...) probably carries the earliest influences. Of course, your answer makes sense too...

I don't like tamborines all that much. I am a CHristian.
Therefor, your question is "false."

I think music really varies from person to person...tambourines can be okay (for certain stuff) but, then again - It's other times, they sound "AWFUL."

I like guitars, piano, drums...you know the regular stuff...and ofcourse the brass bands "outside".

because you don't need years of study to play a tambourine and stay in time with the beat..I think its actually nice if not abused.
