This is a question you should be asking you pediatrician, it really depends on alot of things. I wouldn't do this without the doctor's advice. Without asking you may wind up giving it too much of somethings and not enough of another.

Generally its not a good idea not to do so. Usually the stuff that are made for infants were made with enough vitamines and minerals infants need.

It all depends on the age. Infants that are breast fed or on a infant based formula and eating well they should be just fine

Vitamin D very important because they can not produce it for a while.
