Your first mistake is assuming this person is your "best friend" and maybe it's a mistake to even refer to her as a friend. You are a caring person and what it sounds like to me is this so called friend knows you very well and is manipulating you to keep you from this person that she likes. She may be a friend but she also wants to win when it comes to the affections of this boy. Always be honest with what you see. That is don't cover up your feelings but tell her that you are hurt and you feel that she is trying to keep you from liking this boy. Also have enough faith in yourself to approach him without worrying about what others think. You only have yourself to be happy with. Do not try and let others control you. It might make your "friend" mad but if it does then it only proves that she was not as good a friend as you first thought and it's time to move on and find a new friend.

you need toleave homegirl alone, she no kind of friend. Just move on cause a real friend would have never did that. i went through the same thing but i made a mistake. i over looked it and pertended that it never happened. in the long run she ended up doin something ten times worse. i ended up learning the hard way and it really hurt me. dont make the same mistake that i made, if she did that there is no telling wat else she will/can do. do urself a favor and walk away from her. it might hurt but in time you will get over it... iight girl

Heh, if you want to be a real witch, you could get him to cheat on her with you. You already said he flirted with you before they were going out, so it shouldn't be too hard. Or if you don't want to be THAT mean, just talk him into dumping her. Then of course, he'll go out with you. Of course by this time, no hope of you two ever being friends again.

if your the nicer one dont listen to her but be intellegent I had this friend named cody and when his clothes were not nice or old he would ask me to wear older clothes too that way all the girls would not pay that much attention to me so I would because he was my best bro well he tried ******* this girl he thought I liked alot he turned out to be a punk so thats a story for you to learn from, plus he I heard wanted me to **** him but I never knew that, with people like that they will take advantage of your heart and there jealous of you and are testing you and you might think your jealous of them but ypour not there just taking advantage of your good heart I say walk away or do what you have to but try to avoid drama it best for good and the evil.comen sense

girl, if you two really a bestfriend, she wouldnt do that to you, thats really a selfish one. And by the way, if the boy likes you and you really like him too and you think he's really a good bloke that could make you happy, go and fight for it! your bestfriend should understand that. and if not, better find someone who undestands and respects your feelings and as a person.

a true b.f.f. would let the guy walk before ruining a friendship and since she did not do that she may be one (friend) you should let walk away with Mr.Wonderful because if she went for him that easy knowong it would hurt you she is simply not worth your friendship.

tell her that if some boy is more important than ya'lls friendship than she isn't who you thought she was.
this kinda happened to me-- and i tried to ignore it but i kind of suddeny just got really angry at her and well,, it wasn't the best thing to do... so just don't try to ignore it, that's my main advice. ya'll just need to talk about it with each other i guess.
