Long and straight. But it does depend on the shape of your face - but being brunette, it'd look great either way : ) So long as it brings out your best facial features.
I'm thinking Kirsty Gallacher, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, and one or two from Girls Aloud.

Depends on the girl, the hairstyle, how curly? etc...
I like my redheads with straight, curly, or wavy but not frizzy.
Blondes, mainly straight.
Brunettes, silky shiny with those long curls, but not tight curls, or straight.
