I am ADDICTED to Myspace!!! It is bad if you talk to anyone and everyone.....I have about 55 friends on my friends list and I know all but one of them personally!!! The only one I am not personally friends with is the creator of Myspace, Tom. If you get a Myspace account, talk to only the people you KNOW personally and you will be fine. Otherwise, stay away from it. Ther are a lot of sickos out there!! It is so much fun, even without 100 friends!!!

Yup. I'm anti-myspace, but that's not why I'm writing this ;o)
I work at a police station and there have been many assaults, threats, abductions, sexual offenses all linked to myspace. Some investigations are linked straight to myspace, it really isn't a safe place unless you know who you are talking to, everyone lies so bad on those you never know who you end up conversing with.

If you think that the people there tell the truth 100%.. yes.. it is bad..
if you think that all of the web pages there are FICTION.. then. no it is not bad..
my point.. don't believe everything you read on the internet... those people on myspace are anonymous.. and a lot of them will lie to you (for whatever purpose they want)...
be wary of ANYONE there that tries to talk to you personally or meet you in person.

I do not think that myspace is bad, but you have to make sure that you know what type of people are you talking to, and what kind of personal info. are you giving untill you get to know the real one.

MySpace is a social community website. It is only as 'bad' as the people who use it.

Yes it is bad! Stay away from it. You will find alot of sexual temptations on there and people that can be a bad influence. Occasionally you can find people on there that aren't talking about sex with this partner and that partner but most of the time it is just trash. Plus there are people that go on there looking for young girls to meet and have sex with. I can think of many other places that you can go to to meet people and have fun. Here are some ideas~ YMCA, after school clubs, church, volunteer at the SPCA or old folks home, practice a hobby etc. Just be creative!

i went to myspace chat room after reading horrible reports about tht site. i thought some bad ppl will approach me and try to talk nasty with me but to my surprise i didnt get any IM there. that made me think that this site is really bad or not!

If you over expose yourself to it then yes. You cant put too much information on there because if you do you are asking for stalkers. Just limit your info and in a sense, leave something up to the imagination.
