the "beast" way would be to grunt and groan.

Didn't know there was a best way these days. Seems like modern day relationships are usually formed by being straight-forward and just coming out and mentioning the fact you like the person, and are attracted to them.

Don't hint, tell them straight out, as they will appreciate you for your honesty. Don't play games, as that won't work.
