Both metra and American International make parts for your vehicle. You need a dash kit + radio harness (as long as nobody has cut the harness ) + ant adapter.
metra:
kit # 99-9100 plug # 70-1784 ant. adapter # 40-vw10
Ai:
kit # aud-k610 plug #vwh-1004 ant. adapter # vw6
just as a side note:
the plugs and ant. adapters are the same as Volkswagens.

Yes, you do need a dash kit, the wiring harness, and an antenna adapter which you can get all of these things at Crutchfield.com. But you are also going to need electrical tape, wire stripers, and if you want to do it correctly a sodering gun and some soder(for the wires you have to connect together)
