The only way you are going to have money to your name is by working, and I think my experience might help a little.

I made myself a deal that I would never work at a fast food place. That didn't leave many options in my small city. I decided to use a temporary agency. The cool thing about a temp agency is that they test you to see what your skills are, give you help on your resume, and then they set you up with interviews.

There are temp agencies that focus on office work, but there are just as many for industrial/blue collar work.

Get a resume, even if you have never had a job (put school information, references, skills [i.e., computer knowledge, typing speed, etc.]), get some contacts together, and go to a temp agency.

Once you get a job, you will have money.

NOTE: Do not go to an agency that charges YOU a fee. The best ones charge the employer, not you.

if you mean what should you do if you HAVE money to your name INVEST it in ira or mutual funds or something worth while.. Of course spending a little on fun and nescessities is ok too.. but alway think of your future. But if you mean what do you do if you DO NOT have money to your name.... get some training in some sort of field that you are interested in,,, not just half *** interested in. then go from there and GET A JOB>

who really has any money in life? most people who seem to have money, really have everything on CREDIT.
