My bf never wants to take me out. All he wants to do is drink, smoke, watch ESPN, and sleep. I'm tired I want to go out. I came to live with him from cali to ny (he's always been in ny) and after a year of living together I'm still a NYC tourist, I havent even seen 10 % of the major attractions.

That sucks. The best thing I can think to do is maybe find a new boyfriend? Or get a tour book and just start exploring on your own? Good luck with whatever happens, and enjoy NY. I would so enjoy the hell out of that, myself!

Did you know this before? If so you should of never made that choice to live with him, but lets see, put your foot down, use the if you love me you will take me out, then you will know how much he loves you, or better yet find some friends to show you around he will get jealous at the fact other ppl are entertaining you and he is not getting included anymore.

You made a huge sacrafice moving that far to be with him. He knows you are not going anywhere. He is taking you for granite. Maybe he just wanted a maid? Dump him right away. There are sooo many hot guys in NYC! Have some fun.

Talk to him about it. . .If you still don't get him out of the house then I'd personally dump him because he's lazy. Tell him there is more to life than drinking, smoking, ESPN, and sleeping. Good Luck

This guy sounds like a real ¨Winner¨. I think that you should go out yourself and see the sites meet the people who knows maybe you will meet someone that will take you out and see NYC.

He's acting depressed and or lazy.

Don't depend on him to make any plans.
Make the plans yourself, get excited to infect him with it if possible, and
if he says no, go without him. Don't do anything foolish, just have a good time.
Keep doing this, and he will get the idea
and hopefully begin to go with you to these things.

It works

Sit his *** down, and talk to him. Tell him you want to go out and plan a day or even a couple of hours to just go out sight seeing, I know its a long way to move, but Id move back if he didnt want a 50/50 relationship.

Go girl! Be nice about it, and tell him you'll be back in about an hour, you're just going to get out of the house and then go look around, you'll have a great time!

Sigh, time to get out on your own. He doesn't sound like he's interested in your needs, only his own.
By "get out," I mean become independent and move to your own place and go out when you want. I'm hoping you already have a job, but if not, time to get one.
