why do americans have to be so awful toward illegal people. and those people that say that mexican women come here poppin out babies and expecting americans to pay for them is not true. these women work hard and just want a better future for their kids. others say that immigrants bring crime. i really don't think that is true. there are those bad people that do but just becuase of this we shouldn't think all are like these. alot of americans don't want to go out in the sun and pick tomatoes. so you guys just have us here doing the dirty jobs for you. we don't complain about doing those jobs we just complain about how unjust you are toward us. why do americans hate illegals. you say that they don't pay taxes but they do and they work so hard. there are plenty of american women who do the same thing with their children and i don't see anyone complaining about them.

AMEN mi Hermana. Most people who who "hate" are simply ignorant and latch on to a "band wagon" or are simply raised that way by other ignorant "haters"...
"We are all ONE...why do borders even exist?" We draw a line in the earth, claim the land to one side of it ours...by what right? We tell others that they are not allowed on "our" land....by what right? I ask you, What gives one claim to land and not another? Country? lol...Countries wouldn't exist without the corporations who financially support the mask of "country"...try again...greed, selfishness, fear, all are good answers...but not the root cause....what is it I ask you? I'll give you one guess...only one.

Well I will grow my own tomatoes if that will help get the illegals out!!! Yes there may well be SOME women here that have several children, but the thing is..... If they are American citizens they can do what they want. I know plenty of Americans that work hard too, but can't afford health insurance, 9 of 10 can't get any help from their own government. My best friend used to work at a place that wanted nothing but illegal Mexicans, they told her things from their own mouths. They admitted to using different Id's to work and get food stamps and such. Making decent money, paying NO taxes and robbing our system from the things that should be for citizens ONLY!! You say that illegals pay taxes? What a crock. They may pay sales tax but NOT Fed. taxes.I know this to be a fact. I have seen it myself. So NO illegal has ANY right what so ever to criticize Americans, our families have fought and died for us, and this country.

why so much hate? It's human nature. People are never satisfied. The post Colortx speaks about the atrocities of the Nazi regime and makes her point referencing the worst genocide in the world. It's about choice. People choose to hate. You could just as well choose to love or be neutral and still be anti-illegal and anti-amnesty. In America, there's a certain smugness to slapping people around with words. That is the staple of comedians these days. Words smart just the same as physical blows, maybe more. It doesn't look like frustrations breed politeness. Immigration reform is too emotional of a topic, it was no different for the Turks in Germany. They were unwelcome guests in German society. Imagine if Hitler had been a nice guy?

Your first sentence said it all. ILLEGAL. The American citizens only want the rules of our Country followed, and by being in this country illegally, it is against our laws. That's is right. Illegals would crawl over the border into our Country... very pregnant... crawl to one of our hospitals to give bith. Ummmm.... that costs money. You think the mother is going to pay??? Fat chance. They want to have their babies in our Country because as a 'anchor' baby, that child is entitled to American benefits. If they are so hard working,,, why not work hard in their own country to make it a better place in which to live? Americans will do any job if it paid a liveable wage. By having you illegals doing a job for little pay, you are bringing the wages down for everyone. We don't hate illegals, we just want LAW ABIDING people and being ILLEGAL, you are not.... Come back legally and you will be welcome, but being illegal, you are not.

BEING ILLEGAL IS A CRIMIMAL ACT. A crime.

If your here working illegally how in the hell are you paying taxes? There is no way you can without proper papers. Yes I dont doubt they work hard, as we americans work hard to make up the taxes yall cant pay. And there are millions of american women that work and take care of thier children the legal way. Could we go to your country and draw its benifits and work under the table ? Hell no we would get sent right back home and treated just as you do here.....so face the fact unless your legal here you have no rights....We were born with the rights

Girl get a f****n clue, It's not hate. Get off that pitty pot already. This discussion is about the American people and their Law. Where is your love and respect for that? Why do you hate Americans? We're just trying to get by, work hard for an honest wage, provide a better life for our kids. We don't hate immigrants, we hate that our law is being broken 5000 times a day, our country being disrespected, and our way of life being jeopardized. We've worked damn hard to become the Country we are. Why doesn't Mexico and everywhere else all the illegals are coming from do the same? We did nothing out of hate so get off it!

It's not about hate, no matter how much they scream racism and anything else. It's about keeping the Mexican border where it is. It's about defending the fact that there is such a place as America, and such a thing as an American citizen and their rights. They only cling to the false idea that only Mexico can make those claims.

It's about abusing a system that raises the average taxes of $700 per taxpayer. It's about renoucing the attempt to destroy our middle class and emulate the two teir system that Mexico has.

It's about fighting to keep American sovereignty over extending NAFTA. It's about keeping Mexican customs officials off of 400,000 square acres of land our govenment secretly pledged to hand soveriegnty over to Mexico around Kansas City to bypass all other laws and unions with creating corridors.

It's about defending America from bending to the will of another country. It's about proving the lie that we need them more than they need us is just plain wrong, and will hurt America more than anyone yet knows.

It's about one country, one flag, one nation indivisible (and keeping it that way), it's about having one common language and it's about our leaders in Washington stop passing laws they don't enforce, pass better ones for the American people, and listen to the American people not to have anymore amnesty, free ride, or have unlimited legal immigrants saturate our economy in addition to making illegal entry a felony - like it already is!

Americans in the plural do not hate illegals. Don't blame all of us for what a few think and do. I don't hate anybody.

I do wonder why people don't work toward changing the situations in their home countries so they can live the decent life they claim they came here for. What help is it if all of you hard working Mexicans come to the US for a better life if you're not willing to work towards that life in your own home town?

I don't mind if you want to stay here, but do become legal as soon as possible.

It is not the working undocumented worker that I don't like. It is the troublemakers, actually I think it would be neat if we could kick our criminals out to Cuba or Mexico and keep the hard workers here . Make it a trade. People should ask themselves what they would do if the situation was reversed. Maybe the Mexican /American war should have Texas's border go all the way to the Panama canal.

It isn't hate. We don't want to pay for their better life at the expense of a better life for our own children.

We pay most of poor people's costs of education and services for them even if they pay all taxes. That is why we only let a limited number of poor people immigrate. Because it is a good deal and a 'better life' for the poor immigrants the line is long. However, coming and making us pay for them above the number we say is ok is stealing. Also, education and health care in our border states is severely degraded now so it doesn't well serve our own people. That isn't fair. We all want a better life for our children. The difference is we are having to pay for our own children and theirs as well, while our own children no longer get decent services.

Are you serious? How many times do we have to explain it? Ok, here goes...because they are ILLEGAL and we are tired of supporting them. I wouldn't mind my tax dollars going to help an American, one of my own. I resent the hell out of my money going to help a criminal who has no respect for this country, our flag, our language or the good people here. By the way, I don't like ID thieves, either. It's a good thing that it's just here and not my social security number like a lot of people has had to deal with.
