Isn't that when a flavor is infused, such as orange, lemon, etc?

Now that enough people have answered this question, and you know what infused vodka is... i would suggest that the best infusions involve multiple fruits like strawberry / apple / pear or mango / pineapple. To really enhance the flavor, it's best to infuse the vodka for at least one month, and use a decent quality vodka, or the flavor will never really be that good.

Infused means that it has a flavor added---infused--- into the vodka
Stoli ect are the brand or makers names. You can make infused vodka at home by putting fresh fruit of choice (I like pineapple) into a glass or plastic container and covering with the vodka of your choice. Let it set for 2 weeks in the fridge. Stiring or shaking every day. It's great

I think soaking the coffee idea could work, but I'd use whole bean, not ground. Ground would be too hard to strain and might give the vodka a bitter taste too much like coffee. Sometimes I do put a few coffee beans into my brandy, but that is more for flavor so I don't know if that will draw out the caffeine. Worth a shot I guess.

Flavored vodka is adding flavor or fruit to the vodka. Flavor infused vodka means the flavor/fruit was introduced during the distillation process and actually part of the vodka, not just "added".
