My friend asked me out on the bus secretly and he wanted me to keep it a secret. We talked alot online and we kept sayinhg 'I love you' to each other and a week later he dumped me. I wanna know if he really liked me or if he wanted me to leave him alone.

Okay, to me, it sounds rediculous to be "keeping it a secret". What does he have to be ashamed about? I don't think he liked you in "that way" from the description you gave. Remember, there are many fish in the sea!

That is important.
If he told you that he loves you, but you have not felt it, then I think he does NOT love you. Simple. Its not Rocket Science.
WHY? Because men, like women do know how to express love and make the other person feel loved. And if this guy is not showing you the love, then I would say, he does not love you.
He has a very loose meaning of the term- Love.
He wanted to 'test drive' you. He wanted to check out whether you were 'Lover' material, without getting into all the messy details of having the relationship publicized. Hence the secrecy.
Talking online and saying 'I love you' a gazillion times would not put you in a relationship. There should a lot of ways that you can express your love for each other.
You cannot put an expiry date to love, and thats why it is so great.
If you love a person, you love her. And if you dont, you just dont.
He did 'love' you, but now he does'nt. Its in black and white. So move on. Dont sit and dissect what happened. It is not worth the effort.
And next time, make sure, the guy you choose gives you love that lasts longer than a yogart.
