I feel as if I have been created as a very beautiful and goddess like child of God. The Bible says that through Jesus I am recreated in Gods image. Then that makes me a little child like goddess daughter of His. I feel it every second of the day. Why wouldnt I be one ? I dont take any credit for it any more than a painting claims to have painted itself.I am simply as he is... " I am ". Isnt this a way of saying I exist and Im a beautiful portrait..one thats not of my making ? Do you comprehend this statement>>> He is lovely..He is beautiful...He is so beautiful and He has carved me out of Himself ? . . Also..." In Him I am...I am...in Him...I am..." If you do..please comment ?

To be made in the image of God doesn't necessarily mean that we look like God but that we are like God. God doesn't show love and kindness and mercy and forgiveness, God IS love and mercy and kindness and forgiveness. It's like riding a bike. When you ride a bike you don't tell yourself "OK, self, let's hit it. Right leg up, left leg down. Left leg up, right leg down. Now I will turn right. Now I will turn left Now I'm going to stop for this red light." Of course not. Riding a bike comes so natural that you don't have to think about it, you just do it. To be made in His image means that we are so much like Him that we don't think about showing love and mercy and kindness and forgiveness. It will come naturally. The bible says that man looks on the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. So don't worry if you look like a goddess or like me will have a gimpy leg for the rest of your life because of a spider bite. Worry about what you look on the inside.

IMO, God is not man or woman. We are all expressions of God as are all things. We need to stop reducing God to human terms.

being made in the image of god refers to the inner man; and not the exterior, physical body. remenber that the true beauty is within.
we are gradually made more into the image of god in the inner man.
the secret to growing in god is love of one another.
god is love and so both being one, both lie within you.
