i watch the news and read the papers and see that abortion clinics are being bombed and people inside are dieing. my question is this... don't these extremist know that killing is a sure way to get to hell according to their own scripture? i am not trying to argue for or against abortion i am only asking that don't they know if they take a life then how can they be doing any good and according to the bible they will burn for their actions

i guess sweetthang has a hard time reading the question. i said i DID NOT want to start an abortion debate i just wanted thoughts on weather it is justified killing people by bombing the clinics in which abortions are performed to stop the abortions. to commit murder to stop murder as they put it. is this not considered the same sin that they are trying to stop?

The FBI, and other Intelligence organizations, should infiltrate these dangerous groups that carry out such bombings. This is home grown terrorism inspired by a fanatical devotion to a religious ideology. People who plan such acts should be captured, tried in a court of law, and jailed. People who carry out such plans should be executed. Acts of terrorism is NOT the way that civilized people work to bring about change. These acts are destructive not only physically, but also destructive to society, civil discourse, and to the reputation of the ideology that they are trying to promote. People who act like this are barbarians and their actions are not justifiable. It is never acceptable to target and kill civilians. That is cowardly. What happened to 'hate the sin, not the sinner'. If someone is going to commit acts like this, at least phone in the bomb threat so that people are not in the building.

The way they look at it is this----by killing the abortion doctor and his gorey goons, they are saving hundreds of innocent lives.
There is no way you can argue against that logic. I did not say it was the lawful thing to do-just the right thing.

I think there are extremists of all religions who do crazy things that make the entire religion look bad. Unfortunately, they are the ones who get all the media attention.
