This was major surgery. She is in pain. Dogs are just real good at hiding it. They can't show a weakness to a pack member. Keep her on some nice soft blankets. Take water to her so that she does not have to get up. You could put a little Light Karo Syrup in the water to give her energy. She won't want to eat until tomorrow. Only walk her on lead if she wants to go out. She should not climb steps. The vet should have given you some pain meds for her for a day or two. Do not use asprin as it is a blood thinner. Other otc's cannot be used on a dog.

there is no way to get rid of the pain. u could ask the vet for the right amount of medicine in human pills. i cannot cuz i dont no what ur dogs situation is. but dogs take more than what humans have in pills. they will most likely just sleep cuz of being put under for awhile. just give ur dog somewhere comfy to stay and take a snooze

I remember when our dog was spayed, and it didn't seem like she was too uncomfortable after. We just let her sleep and babied her a bit extra for a few days while she recovered from the ordeal. If you think she is in pain, you should call the vet before you give her anything.

Just keep her still and quiet today. She should want to sleep most of the day. The drugs they gave her at the clinic should still be working and she shouldn't be in pain. By tomorrow she should be fine. Call your vet if she seems to still be in pain tomorrow. He can perscribe pain meds for her.

Poor baby. Just let her lay on her bed and leave her water next to her in case she is thirsty. Help her go outside to potty. She should not have too much pain if she is quiet.

i JUST HAD MY DOG FIXED TOO. THE VET SHOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU MEDICINE TO HELP WITH THE PAIN. I PUT MY PUP IN A PLAYPEN WITH LOTS OF CUSHIONS TO MAKE HER COMFORTABLE TO TO KEEP HER STILL. ALSO MAKE SURE SHE HAS LOTS OF WATER TO DRINK.

Aww. You could gently lift her up on your bed or couch etc. Good luck!
