Trust me, the Sims 2 for PC is SO much better, not too mention all the expansion packs! So, yes, buy it. The PC version offers better controls (The joystick doesn't hold a candle to the almighty mouse), better graphics (so long as your PC can handle it), FAR more options, not to mention you can download custom content directly from internet to add to game and even create your own custom content. Plus, the expansions add on a whole new depth of gaming experience.
However, be warned, the PC version, like all PC games are prone to crashing or not running if you don't know what you're doing, and Your computer has to be able to run it, and if you plan to buy the expansion packs, it'll be pretty darned expensive.

I think it is. The PC version is much better because you can have a big house with a lot of items if your computer can handle it. There are also expansion packs that you can add to give the game more value. You can also customize the game by downloading user-created content.

Yes it's better in many ways. Better graphics, more options, expansions give you more options. The expansions are: University, (they go to college), NightLife, They go on dates, have aspirations, have a baby. They can turn into aliens, vampires. Another expansion is "Open for Business, they own their own businesses to make money. Well that's about all I remember at the moment. Hope this helps. Happy Simming!! ~Jen~
