San Antonio to Atlanta is about 1:30 or so. Atlanta to Madrid is around 6:30. Reversing the trip, it's about 7:30 from Madrid to Atlanta and about 1:45 from Atlanta to San Antonio.

Differences are due to prevailing jetstream winds aloft.
