Ladies, can you please answer this?

Question

Sorry if it sounds weird, but it’s a serious question

I sometimes notice that the women who wear clothing that shows their stomach get upset when guys look (not stare) at their belly button and stomach. Why do the women dress like that if they don't feel comfortable when men look at their belly button? Also, why do a lot of ladies get their belly buttons pierced? And why do they do it if they don't want men to look at it?

I know this is a very weird question, sorry if it sounds awkward; I really don’t mean anything bad, just curious.

Oh, & one more thing; why do the women let other girls touch their belly buttons and their belly button rings, but won't let men touch them even if the men ask nicely?

It's called feminism. They think they should be able to dress as sleazy as they want and no man should dare to stare at them.They do dress to get male attention, but as soon as they get the attention, you guys turn into the "big evil male" who dared look upon their fair delicate female form. Some of us women don't care when men stare at us because they do no matter what we're wearing. As for body piercing, I have no clue. I don't understand that phenomenon.

A girl would feel more comfortable if a girl asked to touch or looked at it because of gender species they might be shy and even though a girl might have a belly button piercing doesn't mean you could just stare at it for your own sake if you like it don't make it noticeable that your looking at it and sometimes make nice comments that would make her feel good about it i am getting a piercing there too

If a woman gets upset because your looking at her belly, she's probably feeling uncomfortable and insecure wearing the belly ring or whatever. Also, they may be a little ashamed. However; I have a belly ring and it is very pleasing to me when someone looks at what I saw in the mirror before I came out. Confident women don't get upset when people are doing what we want them to do.

I agree it's weird when women do that. To me, it's generally considered tacky when women show off their bellies in public.

I am female but I hate belly button piercings. Again I think it's tacky. It makes people think they're cool, and to me it just looks like an infection waiting to happen.

That's pretty simple friend. They really only get mad or upset when the "wrong" guy is looking. Let me put it this way....If I went out and wore my cutest belly ring with my shortie top and just happened to turn Brad Pitts head...... :), I doubt any gal would get mad. Now, say, Grampa Walton was giving me the eye as I walked by.......PLLLLEEEEEASE. The final word? IT ALL DEPENDS WHO'S LOOKING FRIEND. REALLY. It the old "It's sexual harassment when you "don't like" who's bothering you." It's flirting and fun when you "like" who's bothering you. Get it? Well for me, I'm kinda shallow. so if i had a belly ring or showed off my belly, i wouldn't want a guy who didn't own up to any standard or isn't the type of guy i'm interested in. plus I'd probably just be trying to impress some guy. plus, i wouldn't let a guy touch me in that way, especially if he isn't my boyfriend. the reason we let girls do that stuff is because they are our friends. not lesbos though . ewe

I think that it is because they just want attention, but don't want people to think they are cheap or something. They feel like they have to show a part of their body to get attention, but sometimes the attention is more than what they wanted.

the way i look at it, they are insecure and they want other girls to get jealous of their body/shape. i dont do this, but it really gets me jealous when other girls are showing off their figure. i'm not, like, super fat or anything, but i just dont believe it to be moral, so it also makes me sad that people need the reassurance of others jealosy to feel good about themselfs.

it is a weird question maybe it makes them feel good about themselves but maybe they think guys might think theyre fat or something but i certainly dont dress that way or have belly button peirced

most the time we dress like that for us or sometimes its all that we have to wear and we get our belly buttins pierced for us its something that we want and that we feel will make us happy
