How long have you had this cat? Is this a new behavior?
If the cat has always been like this, I agree with the treats and giving it time.
If the cat just started behaving this way, you should take it to the vet. Even the most loving cats can become mean when there is something wrong with them. You won't know until you get the cat examined. Good luck!

Some cats just have that kind of temperment. Your cat may not trust people and feels threatened. Unfortunately, it may stay that way all the time. You may want to get another cat!

I think you should try to hold a treat in your hand and call her name. Do this frequently until she comes to you. Don't just give it to her, and let her leave with it, pet her while she is eating it. It may take time but before you know it, she will be sooo spoiled that she can't keep her paws off of you! lol

Get kitty treats for your cat and be the ONLY one that feeds her.

cats are funny... maybe it doesn't like you... try a spray bottle or be sure the cat isn't ill and feeling irritable.
