can i take in erythromycin for meningitis?

What a wonderful question to ask the doctor that diagnosed the menningitis. Which type of meningitis have you? There are certain types that this will not work for.

I think you need to go see a doctor and make sure it's bacterial and not viral, because erythromycin doesn't kill viruses. It's an antibiotic.

Don't play doctor with yourself!
