I read an article in 'Reader's Digest' many years ago titled "Did you hug your kids today!” I read it with my daughters and wife and explained them the importance of daily-hug as against occasional ceremonial-type hug. But I found that my wife is not used to hugging children and I know what my daughters are missing.

In answer to your question, yes I do long for hug and love from near and dear once but our culture is different than the 'western' culture and here body to body touch is almost non-existence apart from conjugal relationship.

Yeh, but not just anyone will do for me. I try to shut my mind off to it most of the time but it's not always a success. I feel it more when I'm talking to my girlfriend who lives 4178 miles away in the USA.
It's of no surprise to me and I believe it to be true that our general health actually suffers if we don't have physical contact with another human being. This is part of some medical study I read several years ago but my own observations tend to bear this out.

Yes all the time. I have been alone for almost a year and I always think I would like a special hug. I lost my boyfriend last July to cancer and I have been alone ever since.

yes, sometimes I had had a tired day after school, and just the moment of enterting the house I really feel tired and sad. With this kind of mood I really need someone to hug......

But people should keep a strong mind, we have to be acustomed to this. Be stronger!

Yes and only a mum cuddle would do it for me. My mum died two years ago and I cared for her until she died with me by her side. We always had lots of cuddles. Then on Xmas day last year I had the weirdest thing happen to me. I was so sad because I just wanted a cuddle from a mum my mum but at the time any mum would have done. Then when we had opened our presents I went to the cemetery to take mums card and her flowers,, I sat there on the grave chatting away and crying and telling her how much I miss her. Then a lady of about 55 approached me, I don't know where she came from, but she came to me crouched down at the side of me, looked at me and said this is for you, she Lent over and gave me cuddle. I was stunned to say the least, I said I was just telling my mum I needed a mum cuddle, and you gave one I asked are you a mum and she said yes I am, I have been putting flowers on my daughters grave just over there, she pointed to it, and she said she had felt as if someone had said give "my girl a cuddle from me" . My mum always called me "MY GIRL". So I always think back to that, I like to think it was a cuddle from heaven. I hope you get lots of cuddles. be happy beauty...

Yes, but you are to young to be on your own really so who is doing that to you?

Is there something that you could do at times when you know when your going to be on your own?
Take up a club, Reading, writing?

Or at the very least talk to people on line?
