I written them, asked and answered quite a few running questions and still no category for us runners.

There are running events in the Olympics, so it is a sport.
There are also running camps, just as there are baseball, basketball camps, so there are your "lessons."

IN 2005, 382,000 people completed a marathon, a running race of 26.2 miles. 60% male, 40% female. That is a LOT of people.

Yes I really wish they would get us a catagory...We compete just as hard as any other sport does, whether it be in a marathon or a 10k or in the 100m. I've been looking around and answering whatever questions other runners have to help out, but we really need a catagory. They have all these obscure catagories (darts?????? dozens of different types of soccer???) but no running, which is the basis of almost every single sport. I'm going to email them asking them if they could add a running catagory...

To BOB: You are wrong! Have you ever ran in your life? I bet I can beat you in any race - sprinting or distance - and I am a GIRL
I bet your favorite sport is watching TV!

Yahoo please make a category!!!!!!! This is SO annoying to keep putting questions in other sports!

I agree with you completely! Running is really hard and deserves a category!

I like where you are coming from. It is not very competive compared to it is not a major sport. But, this is why Yahoo! has the Sports - Other category for other sports like Running.

They should, they have sections for completely obscure sports but not running! Not even Track and Cross Country combined!
