This guy I've know for about 3 months. We've just been acquaintances. He brings me work from a different department. I admit I did flirt a little with him. But so does this lady, and it seems fine. She's 50. One day when I went over to bring work, I was nervous because I did something wrong with it. He laughed a little a then as I walked away I said so you'll bring the paper when you find it. He gave me the biggest wink and biggest smile. When he brought it over he said what is this worth to you? He smiled and left. After that he kind of acted different wouldn't make much eye contact when he came over. Well 1 month went by of this. He was talking to that lady. I got involved in the conversation and looked at him. He acted really strange. Looked at me but almost at first wanted to leave. The next day he ignored me. Is it because he finds me unattractive? I'm 10 years older he's 23 and I'm 33 could this have anything to do with it? Why do you think he acted this way?

sounds like you want it to mean something.

Three months of casual flirting and he hasn't made a pass? He doesn't want you. He's just playing around in the office. 10 years is a huge gap. I'm 23 myself and I wouldn't consider taking anything with a 33 year old farther than a smile and a wink.

He acted that way because he might have felt that you were coming on rather than just smiling. He got nervous and acted the way he did.

Just ignore the guy from now on.

I mean no offense, but its probably because he thought that you were flirting with him the first time, but were lookin for somethin more than flirting. Then when he realized that you weren't looking for a date (nothing wrong with that) he realized that he had made a mistake, and got pissed off because he feels embarassed. (again, not your fault).

He's probably a bit worried by you, maybe thinks you're not right in the head? Have you thought about the message you're putting across?

hmm it seems strange . I was thinking you know how jealous office collegues can get ...is their a possibility that someone saw your shameless flirtting and maybe started a story or rumour about you ?

Maybe he felt like you were butting in where you shouldn't have been. Try starting a conversation with him all on your own and see how he reacts.
