My husband of almost 19 years will call me every day when he's on a business trip. Sometimes the conversations are 30+ minutes long, sometimes we'll talk for less than 5 minutes. He'll just call to tell me good night, and that he loves me, and to ask if everything's ok at home. Depends on his mood how long we wind up talking. So don't worry if your boyfriend isn't saying much on the phone when he's away, it's what he does when you guys are together that counts.

Either he is busy doing things up there. Like helping them out with something. Or like she said, having with being with family again. Or he could had found another girl up there.
Just talk to him, ask him what is going on up there. If you get the feeling that he is lieing to you . Then tell him that, and if the calls become even lesser. That finally they stop all together. Then you should know, it not all fun and games up there.

boyfriend of 2 years eh..well..maybe he's having lots of fun..something is taking his mind away from you..could be another girl..he can't wait to hang up the phone and go play with his cousins? he's having some doubts..he ran into another girl? i mean..if i talk to a girl on the phone everyday and i hardly knew her just met her..i would run out of things to say..cus i don't know much about her u know..unless we actually went out and did stuff..but here is ur bf..for 2 years..he should have lots to tell you. about his visit and stuff..or does he tell you at all how much he misses you adn he wishes you were there? or does he say hi adn bye. i don't know..could be he's tired of talkin on the phone with you ..he's been with you for 2 years and he needs a break..maybe he needs time alone..not sure..but damn ..he shouldnt' leave you hanging like that.

It's a long distance call, right? Maybe he's just trying to be careful of the time. How long will he be gone? I'm sure he'll come looking for you when he gets back. You've been together for 2 years. Trust him, and don't be jealous / worried. It'll be ok.

It depends on how often you talk. If it's several times a day there may not be that much happening maybe limit the calls to once a day or once every other day and see if the conversation gets any better.

Either he's really really busy or just doesn't know what to say.. Or maybe he's not at his aunts and his cousins as much as he wants you to think he is.. Sorry honey but that's what it sounds like!

well, if i went out of town, i would still call my gf on a regular basis and when we run out of stuff to talk about we talk about stupid stuff. but stop guessing on his motives and just call ur bf and just ask him whatsup. honest communication in any relationship is key.

dont read too much into this,he may be busy,or his family may be in the background and he doesnt want to talk in front of them.wait till he gets back and see what happens
