Mix the ground venison with ground beef equal parts. Use as any ground beef. Brown the steaks, add a little water and about 2 tablespoons vinegar, simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes, drain, add a can of mushroom soup and simmer until tender.

I cook the steaks in tomatoes. First it kills the venison taste and it makes the meat tender. Ground venison I have used in chili.

Marinade the steaks in beer or milk overnight to take out the wild taste then cook as you would beef.
Use the ground meat in spaghetti or chili or make meatballs adding a little bacon for flavor.
The meat is really dry and needs the fat to tenderize it and add flavor.

I've never made it myself, but my grandmother used to make venison BBQ (the shredded/chopped kind). It was some of the best BBQ I ever had. I'm sure you can find a recipe online if this intrigues you. Good luck!
