purely putting my 2 cents in. JC genuinely sounds recommended and experienced. I actually have used cheese that has molded earlier, purely reduce the undesirable section off. And pennecillin became got here across by mold. notwithstanding with meat i'm no longer as certain. i comprehend that cured meats have an outdoors mold it really is washed or scraped off as I keep in recommendations curing meat with my Dad as a baby. My desirable answer (in spite of everything that) is even as uncertain THROW IT OUT. 2 weeks is a lengthy time period for meat to keep no matter if it isn't dried. A bone isn't properly worth nutrition poisoning.

I agree that it'll be fine as long as it smells right when the mold is gone. However, my fiancé loves cheese so much, he eats the cheese regardless of the smell (although he does cut off the mold first!). Fortunate for him, he never gets sick from it. I wouldn't trust the cheese though if it reeked.

I work in a deli and the rule is that if it is a hard cheese....such as chedder...you can trim the mold and be safe, but if it is a soft cheese such as american toss it.
