Or is all sin equal before the eyes of God?
Is picking certain sins as worse a sign of human fallacie, or does God have opinions as to which sins are "worse"?

How is this decision made? How does God choose the severity of sins? (Obviously we could never know, but I'm asking your OPINION)

Supposedly all sins are the same....not to me...but to God.

There is only one unforgivable sin. This is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. We here on earth see sin differently that is for sure. In my eyes nothing is worst than a child rapist. However, the Bible says that all sins have the same punishment.

I feel that once we are in the presence of God that we will just know some of the answers to timeless questions like this one. Kind of like osmosis.

I believe that in the eyes of God a sin is a sin. He does not judge if a sin is a major sin or a minor sin.

Sin is sin to God. He lists the sin of gossip in the same sentence with murder in 1 Corinthians 6.

I imagine it is "worse" to kill a man rather than to strike him, or to flirt with a married woman than to sleep with her.

There are levels of wrong doing and biblically speaking there are various verses which profess certain sins "deadly", but as for the decision making -- Well, I suppose it could be said that the further one walks away from what is pure and holy, the deeper one steps in the mire.

All sins are DEFINITELY NOT EQUAL.

3 And this is not all, my son. Thou didst do that which was grievous unto me; for thou didst forsake the ministry, and did go over into the land of Siron among the borders of the Lamanites, after the harlot Isabel.
4 Yea, she did steal away the hearts of many; but this was no excuse for thee, my son. Thou shouldst have tended to the ministry wherewith thou wast entrusted.
5 Know ye not, my son, that these things are an abomination in the sight of the Lord; yea, most abominable above all sins save it be the shedding of innocent blood or denying the Holy Ghost?
6 For behold, if ye deny the Holy Ghost when it once has had place in you, and ye know that ye deny it, behold, this is a sin which is unpardonable; yea, and whosoever murdereth against the light and knowledge of God, it is not easy for him to obtain forgiveness; yea, I say unto you, my son, that it is not easy for him to obtain a forgiveness.

Matt: 12:31
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
I'd say that is the worst sin since all others can be forgiven!

All sins are the same. All are equally sins.. All push you farther and farther from the Lord... but there are different consequences.. i.e. seven deadly sins...

I think that when he judges.. he doesn't judge the sin.. but the intention...

Why are you asking all these questions about the Bible.. ? Why don't you just read it for yourself. ??

I personally think that believing in more than one God (or in some cases no God at all) is the unforgiven sin.

I think that God looks at all sins the same. Whether it be murder or one little white lie. Dude, you are asking a lot of questions about God. Are you doubting your faith?
