i recently found a book called "The Food Doctor: Healing foods for mind and body" by Ian Marber and Vicki Edgson. It has all sorts of info about food and what it offers the body. also what foods to eat for conditions like asthma, blood disorders and the like.
It says corn is: Excellent food for brain and nervous system. good for eczema. anti-cancer food. rich source of essential fats.
Corn has: iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, vitamin b3.

Corn on the cob has the same calorie and fat content as corn off the cob. Which happens to be very little. It is a starch and is not bad for you until you put butter on it . Which probably won't hurt you either sense it won't hold very much butter on the cob. So eat it , eat it, eat it.

corn is a starch so some people or diets may say it has more calories than other vegitables but i love corn on the cob and i know it might not be low in calories when i get done cooking it because i boil it in milk with a pinch of sugar or splender if i'm gonna be good and i spray it with i can't believe it's not butter spray it is so good.
