...and so few lions???

Why must we hear the same questions over and over and over again?! No one seems to pay attention when they post their "original" question. There is a small box that shows you similar questions, or in many cases, the SAME question. Are you simply incapable of reading, or a complete dolt?

Honestly, after being on Answers for a few weeks, I can understand why Romans threw Xians in with the lions for entertainment.

Anyone else want to be entertained that way?

Roflmao!

I so agree. I put the amount of xtians down to a lack of decent pesticide.
Xtianity is synonymous with hate and hypocrisy and bigotry (even more so)nowadays. It's just a shame there's a few who are actually nice people, shame they feel the need to be associated to that bunch of misfit ignoramuses.

Because of Constantine. Made Christianity a state religion. Otherwise, lions would be feasting on Christians

Christians are mindless because they were told the religious myths at a very young age. Also, they're hooked by the idea of eternal life. What they do not realize is that heaven and hell are right here on earth...and often their own ignorance is creating "hell" for other humans.

And I bet if you looked, you could have found a similar question rather than asking it again. It's funny how we are different, yet the same.

I am a christian and I have the freedom to answer similar questions because it is a question I have thought about myself in the past and got answers for.

Answering questions is therapy for me because I have been persecuted for discussing these questions with my husband (He stands over me threatening to give me a nicker knocker, & then reads my answer to this point of the answer & bellows and lauqhs.). At first I had to deal with anxiety, but now, God is making the answers clearer for me. I have had more insight in everything I answer. And the anxiety is being healed.

As christians, we get persecuted one way or another.

I am glad you ? the lions. Last Sunday's sermon was about getting the victory over the lions in ones life. David got rid of His lions with a sling shot. Samson with His muscles. Daniel just trusted the Lord in the lions den. God saved all these men of God with his power & they using the gifts God gave them.

Now, there are lions every where. Mine just happens to be my husband when He's drunk. It was no accident He roared at me when I was answering your question. He isn't my husband then, He is just a drunk toothless lion, whose startling attacks have left me with some root anxiety problems that God is healing me of.

People don't have zoo lions attack them here in USA. But the spiritual lions can do damage to the psych. Also physical abuses happen secretly (even to point of a Christian dieing) also. In other countries, Christians are also persecuted, tortured & murdered. I believe that when a Christian dies because of others or environmental sins, Christian is a true martyr for Christ, if it occurs because of their strong faith in Christ.

The lesson last Sunday were also about the lions in our life because of our own sin. Our own sin can open doors to lions to come in and roar. If we get persecuted or die because of our own sin (disobedience) we will not attain a reward or martyrs crown.

The rewards come when we are persecuted for Christ Righteousness sake. Then great is the reward. I have already been given a crown of courage from Jesus in a vision, just because I have shared my testimony with loved ones. Since I had tried to tell them years before & was cut down and yelled at, it was very difficult. The anxiety attack is shakes, splotts, etc. & I am weak afterward, hoping no one notices. I certainly don't feel very courageous. Yet Jesus gave me a crown of courage in a vision.

The anxiety attack is a lion in my life. Because of old wounds, that are still there. They can be deep and happened years ago. But God has shown me the root of attacks just this year. I am still in the process of being mended of them. Actually yahoo questions/ answers is real therapy.

The reason for so many Christians is that God is so good.... He is adictive. He is the healer of all things He can do all things. Give it a try maybe then you will see just how wonderful God is. He healed me when the doctors couldn't.....God bless you and I will pray for you and your salvation
