Melanoma can be an easily cured disease if you take care of it early enough. The doctor measures the depth of the melanoma on the microscope measuring guage. If it is a "shallow" melanoma you will be cured !!! You should have your skin checked once a year for the rest of your life and definitely always wear sun block it is very very important!!! Good luck.

Absolutely. My Grandfather has had melanoma spots since he was young and now has long sleeve shirts, pants, a hat and his "grease" (aka sunblock) on every day, no matter the season or temperature. He has had them all removed and goes to the dermatologist every year to be checked. My brother has also had spots and had them removed right away, he is 36.
It is best to have the spots removed or they will grow and can cause other cancerous problems. It does not really hurt and takes no time to heal. Besides with the summer in full swing you dont want to enhance it with the sun and heat. Get to a dermatologist

YES! remove it, the chances of it going away are astronomical. also there is a definate risk of it growing and or spreading. also one thing to consider is how dangerous the procedure will be. do u trust ur doc? and how bad the melanoma is. but in my oppinion you should defianately get it removed!!!!!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK!! ;)
