Jesus was ahead of His time...There's plenty of room to grow into Him...even 2000 years later. Someone once said, "He's not tame." Tis true!

Actually, although many liberals try to paint Jesus as one, and some conservatives try the same, there are arguments on both sides of that one. He often quoted the traditional texts and teachings, taught his followers to follow the law and respect the teachings of their elders, to give to the authorities what is due them, etc. Many of his teachings have been misunderstood in Western tradition, such as why he said not to carry many belongings when travelling being thought a commentary on being modest with your belongings and poor.
This is actually a common practice in Aramaic-speaking countries, as they might take your shoes and your walking stick, but the law stated that taking someone's money or jewelry was to be a death sentence for the thief, so if you, as a traveller, don't carry such, then the thief won't kill you, but sandals, food, water, and a stick won't be worth the official's attention and will probably be ignored.
Good advice, not liberal philosophy.
Alot of things are like that and are often misunderstood by non-historical believers of the Right and Left. Best to do some research before this question is posted again.

I don't know exactly what ultra liberal teachings you are talking about (although I'm not denying that some may call some of his teachings liberal). I know that I am "conservative" on a lot of issues, but on some others I am "liberal". Conservative and liberal are just misleading labels any way. If I told somebody I was a conservative, they would probably think they know me and how I feel about everything. People can't be summed up by a simple label. We are way too complex for that.

I am a conservative Christian, and I choose to believe what's in the Bible. It's the inspired word of God afer all, so what better to go by? Most liberal teachings about the life and mission of Christ are a direct contradiction, so it's easy to dismiss them as man-made foolishness.

What are these? I'd like to know. Being that Christianity is based on Christ's teachings, how is it possible to decipher which Jesus intended to be liberal and which he intended to be conservative?
Your question makes no sense.

Apparently, you haven't a clue about Jesus' teachings!
I suggest you start reading the Bible before you ask questions that show your ignorance!

It is called "cafeteria style religion". It is a great trick!
Step 1: Pick the things from the bible to back up your idea
Step 2: Ignore everything else
