no. sometimes its better to take things slowly, and get to know each other really well. then when you know you trust them, you can go ahead and do the things that you wanna do. i have been going out with my boyfriend for 8 months and we havent had sex yet. he knows i want to wait, and he respects that. but if your man does'nt want to wait, then he is'nt worth your time. no guy should have to be that way.

Yes, I didn't date until I was 19 almost 20, and I had started to physically develop at the age of 11. The key is not to let anyone pressure you to do anything before you are ready. People will tell you you're weird, but I think it is just the smart thing to do. Mature, too, for not letting people tell you how to live your life and not conforming to peer pressure. People who get involved in relationships before they are ready usually end up pretty unhappy.
It kinda sucks to watch everyone else and feel like the odd person out, but I am sooo happily married right now, that I would definitely do it the same way all over again.

Yes, I was 18 and I had the girl ask me out. I was also picked on in school by both boys and girls when I was growing up for being different so that did not help.

Yeah, I think so. I never had an "official" date until I was 27. Married her, I did. That was 35 years ago.
