i am 14 an d i can eat la whole bag or chips like 3 sodas a candy bar and a bagle with bread and still not be full i hate this because i wanna lose weight but i cant i am never really full what can i do to lose weight and how do i stop this??

Your age is a tough passage in terms of social and psychological orientation.

You might feel some kind of stress and try to relieve it with food.

There are much worse cases than the amount you described here.

Also sodas usually make you want to eat more.

I would reccomend trying to relax and feel good about yourself.

Don't question eating too much though you may try slightly lowering the amount you eat just a bit, by giving a couple min breaks and check if you're still hungry and hold yourself. Having fun with your ability to control your apetite.

The point here is to see that you are able to control yourself without being a control freak ABOUT yourself.

If you can't, don't worry. You're not weak. You can try next time

PS: and also such food elevates your blood sugar level fast and it falls back fast too, so you feel hungry again.

Chips, non wholegrain bagels, white bread, white pasta, white rice, potatoes, candy (anything with glucose in it) make your blood sugar level go high fast.

So try eating protein, salad, veggies or whole grain products before eating candy.

You need to shrink your stomach. Over time, you have eaten more and more at each sitting and have stretched your stomach. It's a natural thing that happens, however the side effect is weight gain and never quite filling full, even after eating a lot of food. For a week or two, simply eat smaller portions and drink water between meals. Your stomach will shrink back to normal and you will have the feeling that you are full, sooner. start eating food that is good for you, quit eating the junk, stop eating before your actually full, get off the computer and go outside like all 14 year olds should be doing and get some exercise, if you want to eat the junk food you have to excercise at least 3 to 4 days a week, good luck

Your major eating problem is not how much you are eating but the food you are eating. I used to be able to eat that much too as a kid.. lots of chips and soda and other foods on top of that. Eat healthy.. get exercise. Thats what its all about. Our bodies were made to be fitness machines so use it appropriately. Just as robots need greasing when it gets old, our muscles are not properly developed if we do not exercise.

Instead of eating junk food - try eating fruit instead. Please don't be pressurized into looking like those stick insects you see in magazines - be yourself. If you are genuinely unhappy then talk to your doc - he will help you.

Cut down on the sodas or drink diet stuff, go swimming or go ride your bike - you are a kid for goodness sake, you shouldn't be worrying about your weight and all that stuff. Enjoy yourself, be happy ..

Don't Worry you're not alone. I have an eating problem and I don't know what to do. You can exercise, and don't start being anorexic like Mary-Kate Olsen because it's deadly. If you want to stop this tell a therapist or doctor.

its ok u r growin and at that age u can eat a lot things and still b hungry though if u think it is really serious go see a doctor

well you should exercise.i think you have some issues and your turing to food for comfort,i've seen many people going through this.but i can't say much,the best is you should talk to your parents get their support and go see a doctor.
