Since they're the ones who preach about gays burning in hell, in addition to non believers.

Now, I'll let whoever cast the first stone and the second and the third, etc. Christians usually like throwing stones. I think they believe they're the "God" sometimes. How does that make you feel? You can elaborate as much as you want.

Worse would be tv evangalists, war lords that murder thousands of people, drug lords. All have even darker secrets in their closets.

All these people think they are God. Money makes them feel like they are God.

PS How can you burn in hell. Hell was an idea a man created when he wrote a book about heaven and hell. The idea caught on and became "fact" all these years later.

In the bible;

1. Your body dies.
2. Your soul goes to heaven.
3. At the gates of heaven, the book of life is opened.
4. If your name is in the book of life, you are allowed into heaven.
5. If your name is NOT in the book of life, you are thrown in the lake of fire where your soul then dies.

PS, you cannot buy your way into heaven. You cannot get into heaven by having a house full of religious objects, religious jewelry around your neck, long white dresses, etc, etc.

No, Christians don't have the 'darkest secrets in their closets,' but no doubt most have SOME secrets in their closets. They are human, after all, just like you, and are just as subject to making mistakes as you are.
By the way, preaching that homosexuals and non-believers go to Hell is not 'casting stones.' Those are the direct words of God and He has told Christians to spread the word. Also, when Jesus made this speech (He that is without sin can cast the first stone,) He was not saying that these men were wrong for telling the woman that she was living in sin, He was saying that they were wrong for trying to punish her, rather than forgive. In the same respect, it's not wrong for Christians today to preach that some things are wrong, it becomes wrong when they try to take vengence out of God's hands and excute it themselves.
However, I do agree with part of your blurb. God also tells us to love and respect everyone, regardless of their lifestyles and choices. Some Christians do judge others and show hatred to them based on the lives they live, and that's a sin, too.
A good example of what I mean is this: I am a Christian and I feel that being homosexual is wrong based on the teachings of the Bible, and I do think that ultimately gay people will go to Hell if they don't repent. My best friend, Nick, is gay. He understands that I feel what he does is wrong, I understand that his sexual orientation is his choice, and I am not God, so it's not my place to judge him. We have been great friends for years now because we love and respect each other. If, when I first met him years ago, I had gotten in his face and said something mean like "Fags burn in Hell," we no doubt would not be friends today, and God would be unhappy with that too, because I would never have gotten the chance to tell my friend about the love of God!

One must be cautious of making generalizations here. Not all christians throw stones, or have dark secrets, or even believe in God. And yes I have meet people claiming to be of different faiths and denying what their faith preaches (God, Jesus, whatever).

Christians are like everyone, most people do have secrets, some of them dark. I cannot say that Christians have the darkest secrets. Many organizations (governments, religions, etc) have done things in their past that they are less than proud of and they try to forget it happened, such as the catholics bringing about the deaths of countless people during the crusades.

But getting to the answer. While I say that there are dark secrets around and many people have them, I cannot say that the christians have the darkest until I know everyone's secrets.

Takeemyoung 20:10 Though shalt not preach unless you spank it with a young boy. Blonde, blue eyed, and young I tell you.

Okaaay 5:18 Though shalt not go to church on sunday unless you have morbidly sinned on Mon. - Fri. 9:15 a.m. to 4:57 p.m. eastern standard time. Thee must wear only the most fasionable outfit to "God's House"...no white shoes after labor day or ye shall to to hell. Satan's got a thang for white shoes...white shoes.

Cristen 8:12 Who the H-E- double hockey sticks is that anyway?

Stones 10:05 Ah, throw 'em at whoever, as long as, on sunday, you go to a church that was built by a man with big money that his little followers have donated to from their gambling winnings last tuesday.

Whyisit 5:16 That things with numbers by them seem to look so darn important to some people? Yet the stuff after the numbers really doesn't answer the question???

That is.. Christ-like people.. I'm not talking about the religious...

p.s. I don't think that I am God either... But you sound like you need to be hit with a few stones.. j/k...

Who cares about others personal secrets .. it's not your business to judge.. and why does it have to be Christians?

You are just a narrow-minded bigot...

I think everyone of us has a dark secret and or secrets no matter what religion or belief. Unfortunately, Christians do have that stigma of being judgmental and being bible beaters etc. We are confident in our beliefs which sometimes may come off that way. But in no way are we to judge anyone, less we be judged.

I try my best not to judge anyone. And as for gays burning in hell, that's myth. If they're not Christain then they'd burn, but otherwise we all make sins and thus if all sinners went to hell, all Christains would. When I hear people like Bush spewing hatred to gays, pro-choicers, and muslims, it makes me mad, and it makes think he is only a Christain by mouth, because his actions sure don't show it.

hey, Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
John I 1:10 "If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and His word is not in us."
I have never believed that I am or will be God, for I have sinned and fallen short of his glory. to say that I have never sinned would be a lie, but God sent Jesus to save me even though I don't deserve it since of the many times I have sinnned. I have thanked God many times for giving me this chance, unfortunately I still sin but God will always let me come back to Him not matter how many times I goof up.

'Anyone that far to the right is hiding a very deep and dark secret, you do know that, right?
I’m an armchair ... psychologist but, anyone - you know that when Jesse Helms finally dies, he’s gonna commit suicide first of all in a washtub outside, underneath a pecan tree. He’s gonna slash his wrists and write in blood, "I’ve been a bad boy." But you know they’re going to find the skins of young children drying in his attic, swarms of horseflies going in and out of the eaves, and on CNN over and over, his wife going, "I always wondered about Jesse’s collection of little shoes."'

first of all, i would like to point out that not all people who claim to be christens, are true christens. secondly, christens dont believe they are God, thats exactly what evolution teaches..that we are getting bigger and better and stronger, when the exact opposite is happening... christans say the the non-belivers are going to hell, well thats because its the truth and we as christans dont want that,....one day everyone will see that there is God, but it will be too late
