I have to agree with you. If you can type it into answers, you can type it into a search. What's even worse is when people answer questions that they know nothing about. It's so annoying,

I haven't met anybody recently that has sounded or acted smart in the very least. The dumbest people are the kids in highschool. As in my 2 younger sisters, they are not as smart as I figured they would be or should be by now.
People go to school and are worried more about what other people think they should look like instead of how smart they are.

You are absolutely, coompletely right. You can tell by their horrible spelling, bad grammar, and stupid questions. If you go to the immigration section of Yahoo Answers, you will also find that there is an incredible amount of bigots, too.

Lack of education doesn't imply stupidity, although it plays a role in narrow-mindedness. Of course, a little thought on your part would have revealed that answer to you!

Sir, I salute you for being aware and correct. However, most people only know this Q&A page, or they want to post questions because it's something to do.

People always have to do something to be noticed. Many people choose to stroke their egos this way. If this program were used the way it was really intended to be used, there would be no stupid questions.

the american education system is horrid...children aren't taught how to do a basic library search or how to pick out keywords to perform a search on-line

I'm a shut-in. I read, and ask questions, and await replies simply to be reminded that most people are stupid, ignorant, narrowminded, self-centred, and immature.

I say its laziness...Why seach for an answer and read through an article when you can just ask and get immediate answers? It's how our "fast-paced", super-sized world works: I want it fast and I want it now! That's why fast food restaurants are so popular.
