No, it's a sin like lying, murder, fornication, etc.
1 Cor. 6:9
DO NOT BE DECEIVED: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor theives nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Please pay attention to the first words of this scripture, he is warning you to not be deceived!
But God forgives sin if we confess and forsake it!

No, being gay is NOT a disorder. And it is a sin. BUT! It depends on YOUR religion. If you don't go by the bible, then it's not a sin. If you do, it's a sin.
To me, being gay is not a disorder. It's just the way you are. It's part of you and how you are. Like I always say, don't listen to other's unless it's a good opinion or compliment, and just be yourself. Other people need to worry about their lives, not other's.

No, being gay is not a disorder....is being heterosexual a disorder??? I think not..... Being gay is not necessarily a choice either; who would purposely want to be discriminated against, be ridiculed, or in some instances have hate crimes committed against them.
Disorder can be defined as:
NOUN:
A lack of order or regular arrangement; confusion.
A breach of civic order or peace; a public disturbance.
An ailment that affects the function of mind or body: eating disorders and substance abuse.
I fail to see the term gay within the context of the definition...

No, being gay is not a disorder, being true to yourself or being false just to conform is a choice of sorts I suppose but not one that anyone should be asked or expected to make.
Homosexuality cannot any more be a sin than having blonde hair or brown eyes is a sin and anyone who says it's a sin is probably quite screwed up mentally.

By medical definition yes.
However, so is being left-handed.
I wouldn't call homosexuality a disorder in casual speech, you'll give people the wrong opinion. Homosexuality is a genetic trait, a mutation of certain cells in the brain.
I hope that calling the homosexual gene a mutation doesn't offend anyone. I have nothing against gays, and am pro-ss marriage. I hope the truth doesn't offend anyone.

Being gay is a decision, not a disorder. It is a sexual sin against a Thrice Holy God. God hates the sin of homosexuality so much that He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of it. This does not mean that God hates the person who has commited this abonimation. He loves the sinner, but hates the sin. He wants to save anyone who will call upon His name, and He will deliver them from all of their sins. It would do us well to remember that God first created "ADAM AND EVE", NOT "ADAM AND STEVE."

No, it's an abomination, just like eating shrimp is.
Just kidding. It's actually just one of three ways human sexuality is genetically programmed. Either you're heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual to some degree. It's only looked upon as a disorder because (1) homosexuals are in the minority and (2) so many heterosexuals are so intolerant of it.

Homosexuality is a sin, it is denounced in numerous books of the bible. The most familiar story is of Sodom and Gommorrah. It is against God's plan. If this was God's plan, wouldn't two men or two women be able to have a child together? It is a sort of addiction and it can only be broken through prayer and a strong will.

Being gay is a choice one makes. It's obvious male parts go with female parts and not other male parts. God designed us that way. However, God also gave us free will. He doesn't stop people from sinning, but he does always provide a way out.

No. And the idiots that label it as a sin in the same breath as murder or rape should never be allowed to reproduce. Homosexuality does not harm anybody, and it does not infringe on anybody else's rights. Get over it, bigots.
