After varied scriptures are cited as "infallible" to show you the "error" of your ways...and you fail to take "instruction" from them...
Inevitably they will refer you- that you will know once you're burning down here in my realm ...
But not to fear... we got an AC unit last year ... and although we don't sing hymns around the throne all day ...we tend to be compassionate and take care of one another ...the "beautiful losers club" down here really isn't as bad as they have made it out to be ...we don't require anyone to be in a realm beneath us ...lol

No we can't prove that the Bible is not fiction because there are have so many translations over time and I doubt that anyone can be sure that today's version is the same as the very first version. Also, since men wrote it (and not God as some seem to think) we certainly cannot trust that the stories in the Bible weren't exaggerated.
To the comment above, there is scientific fact (fossil records, genetic evidence) that support evolution. And evolution is an observable phenomenon (especially with microorganisms). Can we say the same about the Bible?

There are many things that used to be presented as proof that the Bible was fiction. Over the last 150 years many of those have been proved out by archeology. I can not prove the whole Bible is not fiction. But you can not prove any part of it is. People try this all the time and they always fail. Many, many don't believe the bible- but no one to date has disproved it. Go ahead-knock yourself out.

Mankind has one consistant trait in its existance. We are born with an intrinsic, or internal understanding of the difference between right and wrong. The testor for that understanding is called a conscience. Without being told, we can "feel" what we are doing, or saying, or an attitude is wrong or right. In the natural there is a social standard with boundaries that cannot be crossed without consequences, although there are those who consistantly try to. Also in the spiritual there is a standard with boundaries that cannot be crossed without negative spiritual consequences. Just as our psychological person knows when we have violated the social standard, our spiritual person knows when we have violated a spiritual standard. Those who deny the reality of a standard, social or spiritual, are those who consistantly reject the aspect of individual responsibility and accountability. The act of denying that something is true does not change the fact of truth, but only the degree that truth can profit the life of the individual. You want proof that the Bible is not fiction, and I give you this answer. If you believe the Bible is fact, those who believe so have a responsibility to direct their lives in such a manner that testifies to that belief, and supports the standards of its spiritual teachings. If you believe the Bible to be fiction, you are still obligated to observe the social standards of the world around you. The teachings of the Bible promote sacrificial love, compassion, peace, joy, obedience, patience, and forgiveness. The social standard of the world says," take care of number one, get all you can get by any means necessary, and only the strong survive". The Bible teaches about a creator with endless love for His creation, a savior who died for the sins of all, and a place called Heaven where all those who believe, and live accordingly, will go when they die. The world structure says only the successful, and the go-getters deserve consideration, and the poor are expendable.
The Bible is a book comprised of historical facts, but the life within it is of spiritual faith. The Bible is true, and its truth is not contingient upon belief or unbelief, or proof, but is absolute. Belief or unbelief only determines the power it has in a person's life. Truth is not relative but absolute, and cannot be dictated, but must be discovered at the source. The true answer lies within yourself, and if you really want to know, the power in the Word of God will reveal itself to you. Physical man cannot manufacture proof of spiritual things. The true question is, which standard do you want to live by? If the Bible is fiction, its standards are still solid, and you are a better person for them, but if the Bible is fact, rejection of its standard has eternal consequences that reach beyond the grave. Violation of the social standards can only affect you this side of the grave. All must choose as they feel.

Our lives are fiction except for what we believe in.
Religion is nothing more than a mental stimulant that keeps most people from going insane for not being to comprehend death. It was made up to calm the mind.
Those that say prove evolution it is simple if you cant evolve and see that things change over time then you believe in a book of stories till death and then your soul will be set free.

Honestly, no one has to prove it to you. You can choose to believe it by faith, or you can reject it. God has given you this choice. It's up to you to deal with the consequences
thereafter.
Do you believe the historical accounts of George Washington are fictitious? I'm sure you don't, and you haven't seen him either. You weren't there; it's not like you witnessed the war, yet you no doubt believe it anyway. The Bible is the same
concept.
By the way, here's one example: Read the book of Daniel. You will find it to be in complete agreement with recorded history, though it was written long before.

Usually it goes the other way around: someone proposes an idea and presents evidence to support it. Funny how some people think the bible is fact and doubters must point out the obvious problems with this viewpoint. But that's why it's called belief and not science, and governments should not be based on supernatural beliefs.

Can you prove to hundreds of thousands of believers that the Bible is fiction and look into their Hearts & Lives? ....I can help you out with that!....take all the supernatural experiences, miracles, answered prayer, special blessings from GOD based on His Word away from hundreds of thousand believers, and de-throne GOD, make a new heaven & earth, and universe and I will prove to you that the Bible is fiction!.....ps. why is it so necessary for you un-believers to come on a religious/spiritual site just to come against believers faith in GOD!...all you have to do is go to another site that believes the same way you believe!....That's fair enough!

There is, unfortunately, some disagreement about the definition of atheism. It is interesting to note that most of that disagreement comes from theists — atheists themselves tend to agree on what atheism means. Christians in particular dispute the definition used by atheists and insist that atheism means something very different.
The broader, and more common, understanding of atheism among atheists is quite simply "not believing in any gods." No claims or denials are made — an atheist is just a person who does not happen to be a theist. Sometimes this broader understanding is called "weak" or "implicit" atheism. Most good, complete dictionaries readily support this.
There also exists a narrower sort of atheism, sometimes called "strong" or "explicit" atheism.

With this type, the atheist explicitly denies the existence of any gods — making a strong claim which will deserve support at some point. Some atheists do this and others may do this with regards to certain specific gods but not with others. Thus, a person may lack belief in one god, but deny the existence of another god.
Unfortunately, misunderstandings arise because many theists imagine that all atheists fit this most narrow, limited form of the concept of atheism. Reliance upon dishonest apologists and cheap dictionaries only exacerbates the problem. So, when someone identifies themselves as an atheist, all you can do is assume that they lack belief in the existence of any gods. You cannot assume that they deny any gods or some particular god — if you want to find out about that, you will have to ask.
Why do these errors occur? Why do some theists insist that the broader sense of atheism simply does not exist? Possibly some theists feel that since they are claiming the existence of their god, then anyone who does not agree with them must be claiming the exact opposite — a serious misunderstanding of not only basic logic but also how human belief systems operate.
Another reason for insisting that only the narrow sense of atheism is relevant is that it allows the theist to avoid shouldering the principle burden of proof. You see, if atheism is simply the absence of a belief in any gods, then the principle burden of proof lies solely with the theist. If the theist cannot demonstrate that their belief is reasonable and justified, then atheism is automatically credible and rational. When a person is unable to do this, it can be easier to claim that others are in the same boat than to admit one's own failure.
There is also a tendency among some theists to make the error of focusing only on the specific god in which they believe, failing to recognize the fact that atheists don't focus on that god. Atheism has to involve all gods, not simply one god — and an atheist can often approach different gods in different ways, depending upon what is necessitated by the nature of the god in question.
Thus, when someone claims that a person is an atheist because they "deny the existence of God," we can start to see some of the errors and misunderstandings that statement involves. First, the term "God" hasn't been defined — so what the atheist thinks of it cannot be automatically assumed. The theist cannot simply assert that whatever they have in mind must also be something which the atheist has in mind. Second, it is not true that whatever this god turns out to be, the atheist must automatically deny it. This concept might turn out to be too incoherent to justify either belief or denial.
As a matter of fact, many exchanges between atheists and theists turn out to be frustrating and unsatisfactory because no one ever bothers to stop and explain what is meant by the key term "god." Unless and until that happens, no serious, productive, or rational discussion can take place. Unless we know what the theist means by "god," we'll never have any chance to judge if anything said in defense of belief is adequate. Only when we know what the theist means by "god," will we be able to seriously critique their concepts

Even if I gave you concrete proof, if you didn't want to believe, then you wouldn't. If you're seriously open-minded, I recommend that you read Lee Strobel's "The Case for Christ" and "The Case for Faith", and perhaps take the journey for yourself.
Can you prove to me that the Bible IS fiction?

No, the Bible is fiction. Specifically, it is a collection of stories and myths over some 3,000 years or so.
