No. 10 to 30 Second breaks won't stop your "workout" from doing what it does.
BUT jogging is not working out.. It is a fitness exercise, which is not very geat for body development, but rather musle warming and cardio vascular exercise, which actually helps reduce muscle size and definition if done too much.
If you want to WORK OUT.. then do activities which involve resistance weight training. If you are a female do light weights of higher repetitions to receive definition and firming of the muslce. Along with dynamic stretching which inccorporates constant movement so to say. Your exercises should go no londer than 45 minutes to an hour of high intensity.
Use jogging as a warmup and a warmdown on weight training days and as a cardio exercise of longer duration during "cardio" days. you should do 3 days of weight training and one of cardio.

It won't hurt it at all. You're doing fine. Many runners do interval training where they take far longer breaks. You can gauge your progress by taking your pulse after a run. If normally you run 3 miles in 36 minutes and your pulse is 150. After a month or so your pulse should go down. You can also check your pulse each morning. With training your pulse should go down. If you do too much your pulse will increase by over 5 beats per minute.

It's fine.. the whole point of Cardio is to strengthen the endurance on the heart... it a gradual thing, so the breaks are needed. As You become stronger, the breaks will be less frequently needed... do be so hard on yourself in the beginning.

No it will not. It is better to be safe than over do it. You can walk for a longer period of time and still get great results instead of jogging or running

that depends on how far apart your breaks are...if your breaks are less than about 15min apart then yes it will hurt you. your best workout will be when youre at the right heart rate. that all depends on your weight age and some other factors...check some sites to find out what yours is and your best resting heart rate too.

No, but keep it up and not to excess. Rest as needed and then crank up the intensity again.
