Yes I do think so because in Matthew, Jesus described some of the signs of the last days, and He said that there would be wars and reports of wars, earthquakes, pestilences, and other things happening. Matthew 24:7-14
These things have been happening since 1914, and we can tell from these things that Jesus has taken control over the Kingdom in Heaven at that time. The chronology of events is too long to explain in this short question and answer, but you can find this chronology out by asking one of Jehovah's Witnesses and they have a form at their website that will allow you to ask for a free home Bible study, and they will be glad to explain things to you much more fully. The will do this for nothing and no obligation to have to give money or to change your religion. They will just sit down with you and help you to learn the Bible better.
You can use the form at the website below or you can call the local kingdom hall, and they will be only too glad to help you, and there never is a collection plate passed at the meetings nor do you have any obligations at all to change your religion. I hope the Scriptural thought helps you.

You are absolutely right.. The churches are ordaining homosexuals and leaving sound doctrine behind. There (for the most part) is not any spiritual power in the churches any more. Not many people pray any more. Keep yourself in the word and fed and try to get in a good church. I think that the great tribulation will begin within the next 5 or so years..

I imagine some believers felt the same about every major war since the bible was written - look at WWII millions of people died and an atomic bomb was dropped. Planet is still spinnng.
So you're going to feel really silly in 2007.

No. We are far from being perilous times. WWI was bad, WW2 was worse, the Civil War was the worst of all. The only difference is news is better and quicker now.

Nope. Not in the "Last Days". These are the Salad Days. Though many Christians are hopin', and wishin', and prayin' for the End. If only so they can look around the room, point those crusty, angst-ridden fingers of theirs at us, the Logical, and say, in one big, pompous, collective breath, "Seeeeeee. Told ya so!"

Ever since the universe began we have been in the last days. :) There are always people who twist every incident that happens to mean that these are the last days. Quit worrying about it and enjoy life because it is the greatest gift you have.

Are you willing to put your faith on it? If the "last days" do not happen this year, will you renounce Jesus?
Timothy was not written by Jesus.

I totally agree, but let me take it further by saying that we are actually living in the last of the Last Days.
