Life just seems so empty without a purpose. What is your people's purpose?

i have a purpose. it's to become successful in life and to make something out of myself. i have a chance to become what ever i want wheater it's to join the marines or do construction working. or what ever. i'm going to take that chance and work hard to get what i want. so i can take care of myself and my family.
but sometimes i do feel empty. just suck it up and keep going.
if i'm going down, i'm going down trying the best that i can do.

Well as you rightly put it life is empty and purposeless. We can invent a purpose so that we can achieve our aims and desires. But that is not inherently the purpose of life. The purpose of life is life itself.
And if i did want to kill myself, even that would be a purpose i have invented. We constantly invent purposes in life. we believe that one we have achieved the aim, we will be satisfied. but once we get there. Bang. its emptiness again!!! So we start the cycle all over again.

Just because I don't share your purpose doesn't mean I don't have one.
There has never been a moment in my life when I wanted to kill myself.
It is rude of you to say that I live without purpose. I'd like an apology.

My purpose is to manage one day at a time. Why do I need to live my life for someone else? It's mine to live.

Why in the world would I want to kill myself?
If I believed in Heaven, THEN I'd be eager to die, so I could go to my fabulous post-death Club Med. Why don't Christians kill themselves and each other all the time if heaven is so great?

thats the mystery in living. yes, sometimes peole wanna kill themselves, but it may not be because they dont have a purpose. i dont know how people do that, but frokm what i understand we all have a purpose.
