I worked out day before yesterday (body pump class) and my arms and legs are very sore. I can barley walk. I didn't go today or yesterday because of it. To make the soreness better, do you take a break for a few days, or is it better just to keep working out to make the pain go away...what to do?

Soreness is to be expected. If you continue to work out your body will get used to it and you will only be sore and or tired for maybe 30 min. or less after your workout. I work out a lot myself and have experienced that many times when I have stopped working out and then started again. Happy to help.

Yes, but make sure you drink lots of water and are stretching after you work out!

Then the next day have a banana and stretch again!

you need potassium and don't want to build up the acid that makes you sore!

Sore = working!

well you have done the same thing i have done.. but you do not quit .. you just take things slower until you get where your body does not hurt so much..and walking is good when you are so sore you cannot do anything else...take some tylenol or a pain pill if you got one.. and try to get up and just walk the soreness out...i do admit i laid in bed one day and i was so sore but i knew i had to get up and do normal everyday things...so just try and walk the soreness out...

Work through it. Do an easier workout for the next few days. It keeps your muscles limbered up.
